Starting in May, each class will run for two hours weekly. If you miss a session, recordings are available within 24 hours.
Your free six month membership also gives you unlimited access to every Sew-along, Workshop, forums and Classes.
🧵🧵🧵
There is nothing quite as decadent and versatile as a Classic French Jacket.
I am thrilled to offer this class on our Workshop Community, our first official class!
The making of this iconic garment show how form and function work so beautifully together in Couture - everything has a purpose.
This series is all about demystifying the process, while offering lots of detailed instruction. It is a logical process, and while it has many stages, none are complicated once broken down.
I'll be making a jacket alongside you, explaining each detail as we sew.
This class will include a pattern of either the Amelia or Joan and the first session will focus on fitting our muslins.
Each virtual session includes comprehensive class notes and videos to accompany it, as well as the recorded zoom class. All of these are yours to keep, and won’t expire, so you can really work at your own pace, in your own time.
After registration, you will receive a supply list for the class, some fabric thoughts, and a link to some wonderful Boucle Suppliers.
